The Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission is responsible for the administration of the rules and regulations for continuing legal education.
Kansas CLE Notice of Course Approval

Effective immediately, the Kansas Notice of Accreditation will be issued to providers and attorneys (when applicable) via email! Please make sure to provide an accurate email address when applications are submitted. If there is not an email address on the application, or in our database, the affidavit will continue to be printed and mailed as usual. When you start receiving these emails, we would love to hear your feedback!

Proposed Changes to the Rules Governing Continuing Legal
Supreme Court Rule 801-811 Education
The Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission recommends the following changes to the rules governing CLE in Kansas. The Court is accepting comments on the proposed rule changes until December 31, 2016. Comments on the proposed rule changes may be addressed to Shelley Sutton, Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission, 400 S. Kansas Ave., Ste. 202, Topeka, Kansas, 66603, or to cleadmin@kscle.org.
Proposed changes include:
References to "traditional programming" and "nontraditional programming" will change to "live programming" and "prerecorded programming."
The application of credits for live, real-time webcasts and teleconferences will be the same as classroom programming, with no limit on the number of hours earned in a compliance period.
Increase the limit of prerecorded programming to 6 hours per compliance period.
Increase the limit on in-house programs to 6 hours per compliance period.
Reduce the required prior application notice on in-house programming from 30 days to 21 days.
